[Turning my key in the lock to my room at the Inn feels like the most familiar and comforting thing I've done in...how long? I shake my head and push the door open. Even the scent of the room itself is comforting. More and more things assure me that this is where I belong. I toss my keys, sunglasses, and purse on the table near the bed then slip off my heels.

I'm doing alright. Just trying to get over this apprehension that keeps me from going out to my house. I seriously doubt Jason could be there, but the place is filled with bad memories and that in itself is enough to keep me from wanting to visit let alone live there. It's a good thing my attorney confirmed that everything is in my name. I'm supposed to meet with a real estate agent tomorrow. It's a nice house. I don't think there should be any problems selling it...
