Let me put it this way: I'm not looking to take down the Mexican drug trade. I figure there's gotta be guys like us in their own law enforcement that can do that. I want one guy, and anyone on our side of the law that helps him get away with his shit. You know what's wrong with this whole thing? That I can't do the job I was hired to do. What the fuck point is there in it all?

By the time Terry and Richie make it to Bud's apartment, the stretcher's being loaded into the ambulance. The EMT says they'll know more when they get him to the ER but it's not good news that Bud's out.
