Gene gave a short laugh when Kathy hugged him, pecked his cheek and gave a quick apology and "I explain to you later okay? This was not really about you. I messed up, but its okay again now. You are the best Gene Genie in the world, thanks so much for watching my booth!"
John Biebe grinned too and clapped John on the shoulder, "happens to the best of us man. I knew you'd solve it though." And with that and a goodbye to Gene he was off to search for Clarity.
Quickly Kathy has packed up the few things that were left in boxes and with the help from John and Gene everything was loaded in the car soon after.
"Come, hurry. I don't wanna miss Richard. Gene come, this'll be a treat! Richard will read his poetry and he's sooooo good!"
She didn't see the face Gene pulled or hear his, "poetry? I can give ya some of my own brand of poetry. It's straight from the streets of Manchester ....though not for the faint of heart..."
Not letting any of the women push her away from her very good place by the stage, Kathy leans against John's chest while she listens breathlessly to Richard's words. Next to them Gene doesn't know wether to laugh or leave in search for another beer.
"Oh....wasn't that just too good? I loved it!"
Kathy claps her hands and whoops, "Again! I mean no...ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!!!!!!! We want another one!!!!!!"
