Yes I admit he looks cute. But he looks cute with or without baby so there. No babies for Kathy. She'd rather move to Alaska and start playing hockey and she really, really doesn't like cold weather. Okay, I've given you more than enough chances Miss I-so-want-to.plan-a-big-wedding-again. I have to send in the big weapons now. Psst Little John? You know how you always said you wanted to serenade for hours and hours with no break? This is your chance. But we have to be smart about this. Dress up as Robin and get your horse, that way you can get close to Clarity. She'll never say no to a cute male on a horse. And once you're there let Honey-Altaira run free (we don't want to hurt her ears do we?) and sing. Sing as loud and long as you want to! Sing until she says: "No baby!" "Alright Miss Kathy! Clarity will be so happy to hear me sing!"

Waiting to see if John and Kathy create a 'stir' with their cyber sex chat. Don't leave us hanging, or you won't get the skinny on Logan...from anyone. I really hope that what I think Biebe is up to is really what he's up to. Both he and Clarity deserve to be happy. If Clarity is really planning on all those guests, John, you might want to consider a cash bar. Just sayin'. Hey, Ann, are you sure that's not Logan you're having such a beautiful time with? I mean, it'd be easy to mistake them for one another... (What, Logan? I AM being have.) Seriously, though, it's good to see Ann happy and having fun with someone she cares for again. Been too long. Angel, let Jack take care of you. That's all he wants. It would make you both so happy. Tulip, same goes for you and Egan. Men are like horses. You can lead them to water, but you can't make them hopeless romantics. Sometimes, they're just guys who don't have a lot of interaction with the modern woman and need to think it's all their idea when they do figure it out. Waiting breathlessly for Cort and Ben to get on with their story. Love the way Ben's learning about himself by seeing the man his cousin was before his epiphany with the priest, and how stepping back into an alternate version of their world helps them both figure out how to lay to rest certain demons. I hope this cements their family ties and helps them cope better with the world of the Big Sur when or if they come back. Assuming they don't die there. Glad to see Uma back. Or is she? Is she still jetlagged? Is Max keeping her otherwise 'engaged?' Logan, what can I say? You've breathed life back into my spirit, when you haven't been taking it away and making me want to solve the problems and hurts I don't know about yet. Thanks for the glimpse inside your soul. Ann and Drover! I must say I really enjoy that! Ann being carefree and laughing - what a nice sight. But will it last? Kathy likes Grizzly! She loves all the big dogs, except for Miss Spooky and Snoops of course. Grizzly looks so cool. Just as I imagined him. Someone abused him? Can Kathy come when revenge is taken? Bud and Franki - awwwww. That cuddle gives me warm and fuzzy feelings! Cort and Ben - *ties her hands down to not bite her nails* Very intense! What is going on in Biebe's head and when will Clarity find out about it? Egan managed to take Tulip to his home! Yes!!!!!! Jack! Angel! More! Kathy chickened out. For now that is. This webcam thing is new to her. But hey, if she needs to do it to get more of Logan and Lily she will! What a hardshipthat is - cyber sex with Nashie. *SIGH*  (I think she might do it without having to be persuaded though. Maybe just a little bit from Nashie)

Thanks, K and Roo. I wasn't sure how that would go over.
I decided to 'soften' Grizz's story just a little, because the reality is too terrifying to go much further, else I'd be crying at work too. But that doesn't lessen the cruelty of it, because it's evil against something that doesn't have a voice to cry out for help. Here's the truth- very very few of those dogs that make it out alive actually get adopted or rehabilitated. More often than not, they are exactly what Mike said: so messed up mentally and physically, they can't be. The most merciful thing that can happen to them is to be put out of their misery. What the people that do this sort of thing for fun and money do to those animals and the ones they steal for 'bait' is beyond inhumane. They aren't human at all. I know about this and it makes me so very mad. I close my eyes most of the time they have something about this on TV, I can not watch those poor animals.
Meanwhile over here you have to have a license for some of these "fighting" dogs, like Pitbulls, Bullterriers, Rottweilers and such. While I
don't think a dog is born bad I think it might be at least a little way of controlling the people who have those dogs. The controlls are pretty tough, if
you walk your dog the police will come up to you and ask for that license. So for the kids who think it's cool to have a Pittbull, those who actually walk
their dogs in the streets it has become quite a drag. If they don't have that license the dog will be taken away.
And our country is smaller so if you have a lot dogs hidden on your estate chances are bigger that people will find out and report to the police. Every dog who has to suffer is one too many but I hope and think we don't have too much of these "events" over here anymore. Now we just have to find those who do and find some kind of jugdement (I have a few things in mind that I will not say out loud) The sad result is now the animal shelters are full of those breeds, even if they're friendly, because their owners didn't want to make the effort to train them to get that license. Have a friend who has worked with pit bull rescue for years - including her own baby Rocket that she rescued from her own brother - Rocket has lived to be very
old and chubby (imagine a 90 lb pitt who can't sleep without his blankie!) and is a great success story. But yeah, I'm with you all and Logan on this -
those who knowingly cause suffering should suffer the same fate. (Which is where I hope that the Wiccan "law of the three" holds - what you do comes
back to you three-fold in life!)
Now, having been busy all week, I see I have a lot to catch up on. This place is such a buffet of riches these days and I'm looking forward to having the time to do some reading this week! *Ooh, have been sneaking on from work and doing some catching up... My heart really goes out to Andy - wonder if he's being honest with Lily? Or is his heart breaking? Nash getting so naughty! I'd offer Birthday spankings but don't want to get in the way of something special happening - even if it is only virtually naughty
Terry's back (handsome devil) and looking for Ann? Oh, I don't think Drover will take to that too happily. Oh, and remind me to give Paul a pinch if I ever see him! I think Biebe is up to something sweet. Hoping Uma can help steer him in the right direction (no haircut!) Poor Jack, thinking Angel doesn't love him. And the poor girl crying so piteously. Just a bit of communication would go so far - if only she spoke Royal Navy or he had an inkling about how the mind (and not just the body) of the fairer sex actually works. Looks like Lily and Logan are enjoying the usual romp - all over town (speaking of naughty!) And yet... it seems like there's a lot going on under the surface with these two. I can't help hoping they make it work! Now, if a day spent alone together could just help Bud and Franki to heal (Franki, try decaf, sweetie - you've got enough edge! ) well... the
adventures will continue as always.
(And yes, Uma and Max, I haven't gotten to you yet, but I am so looking forward to it.) Can't wait to read the rest. Is it time to go home yet?

My. Gawd! As if Ann's life hadn't just gone from 0 to 120 with dreamy Drover's appearance out of nowhere, now Uma decides to add a new complication with a man out of left field? Girl, you and Roo both know how to shake me up out of my "wee little ideas"!! Here I was, all my plans staked on Ann being celibate and low-profile in the wake of the twin departures of Ben and Jeremy! Now all she needs is foror Sergei to show up ... LOL! This will teach me to read this site during the day when I should be working! I cannot stop laughing. These poor people! Can we possibly make life any more difficult for some of them? We so love to torture them, don't we? (And, yeah, I'm including Clarity in that comment -- here John Biebe sweetly lets her sleep in after a night on the town and what's the first thing she thinks when she finds out he's gone to the Phoenix without her that morning? That he's off doing something insane like carrying on behind her back in the Phoenix, where it's not like people don't know who he is and who he's involved with! Hahahaha! And, gee, I just wonder who else has his cell phone number. You don't suppose we're about to find out, do ya... nay, why would Clarity torture Clarity even more ...? LOL!) At least Franki is making the right kind of moves with Bud, at last. These two may be an unlikely couple on the outside, but they are incredibly intriguing to watch and so endearing to see them both smart enough to see beyond each other's tough exterior to the person within. But Franki really, REALLY needs to find a non-criminal sorta job, I think! Oh. Jack. That's all I gotta say.
